These 8x8x3” maquette dioramas are part of a 64-piece quilt of myth-based stories designed to be a part of a 3D chessboard. Each 8x8 maquette diorama is its own story, yet connected to the others by some invisible thread, creating a single 88"x88" wall sculpture. Below are samples of individual pieces.
