SCULPTURE

Sculpture Series 2021/22. This series of sculptures are literally from the earth.  The primary elements are the extracted roots and cut timber from Rosenberg's outdoor studio. During the pandemic stay home, Rosenberg turned to natural elements and materials he had at hand to create a series that plays with the relationship of scale to create an alternate, surreal, reality. In some, he hints at a folktale mix of superstitions and religious orthodoxy mixed with a healthy amount of irreverence and humor.
