In The Fog Of War
Shadow box assemblage series, 2024–25
Mixed media: archival pigment print, vintage watch, circuit board, found objects, mirror, wood shadow box
Time does not pause for devastation. Across this series of shadow boxes, analog watches mark their seconds against a ground of baroque figural chaos — classical bodies locked in eternal struggle, circuit boards tracing the machine logic of modern conflict, small anonymous figures adrift in the wreckage of history. The monumental freezes. The clock hands move.
The fog is not confusion. It is continuity — the terrible persistence of time through everything we have done to one another.
